exclusive 1.5 hour Makaha by Sunrise Ride where you'll discover the hidden history and natural beauty of the treasured Makaha Valley.

The Makaha by Sunset Ride (Wednesdays and Fridays only) is suited for snorkelers and riders who have
their own transportation. This deluxe package includes a 2 hour trail ride followed by activities and a Paniolo
dinner consisting of: Island Style BBQ grilled Chicken, Steamed White Rice, Island Mixed Greens with house dressing,
Dinner Rolls, Corn, S'mores, Fresh Pineapple Spears, and beverages of
Island Fruit Juice, Coffee, Hot Chocolate or Bottle Water.
Some of the activities following or before your trail ride include participating
in Hawaiian games, make and take leather crafting (key chain, bracelet or bookmarker), and learning about
plants and animals native to Makaha Valley. Snacks include bottled water and a
granola Bar, trail mix or cookie.

* You must be 12 years of age or older and 4'6" tall for all horseback tours.
* The maximum weight for a rider is 250 lbs. due to safety and liability.
* All Mauka to Makai Adventure reservations must be reserved at least 24 hours in advance.

Makaha Valley Stables Requirements
* The maximum weight for a rider is 250 lbs. due to safety and liability.
* You must be 12 years of age or older and 4'6" tall for all horse ride tours.
* Anyone 17 years and below are required to wear a safety helmet while riding a horse.
We STRONGLY encourage the use of our safety helmets for all rides.
* All participants are required to wear covered shoes (no shoes with high heels). Long pants is suggested for comfort.
* Disclaimer: The Historic Makaha Valley Riding stables has the right to refuse and accept any rider
should the management and/or staff feel that participant may cause an uncomfortable distraction or
potential risks and dangers to other riders or dressed inappropriately.
* Participate responsibly; you should be in good health to ride safely. You know your physical conditions
and limitations. If you suspect that your health could be at risk for any reason, or you could aggravate
a pre-existing condition, back injury, just had and/or about to have surgery, risk pregnancy, epilepsy or seizures,
animal allergies, or concern of any kind by riding a horse or hiking, it is suggested you may Not want to ride
a horse or hike.
* All participants will be required to sign two waiver of liability forms.
