"How do you explain the experience we had this morning. Upon arrival at the Ko Olina marina at 6:15 AM, we were greeted by nice people behind the counter that checked us in and explained the schedule for the day. Breakfast snacks were offered under the white tent out back where we were greeted by a pleasant young woman who asked us for our lunch preference and pointed us to coffee, tea and other refreshments. Then our trip to the boat with Captain "Chip" and Crewman "Tim". They were friendly, professional and really interested in safety and fun for all aboard. And to think they were able to spot the dolpins just out of the marina. That was just the start. They amazingly delivered three pods of dolpins, the first pod swam directly under us while we were on our snorkel trip and they had four young babies that we were able to see. Then three turtles and a huge whale (we are all convinced there might have been two) that got so close we could almost touch them. The whale was slapping his tail on the water in very shallow depths, we could hear the crash of his tail into the water at least 20 times. We also are convinced that his nose was touching the bottom of the ocean in a sandy patch. Tim and Chip were amazingly professional, but the casual atmosphere and fun they created is a perfect way to spend any morning on your vacation. Aloha Chip and Tim. Until we meet again."      "A big Mahalo to Brian and Tim for making our trip out on the Explorer the best we have ever been on. My husband and myself have been on a few other boats in the past and this was the best EVER! I must tell you that the Captain Brian and His first mate Tim have what it takes to make a guest on your boat feel at ease no matter what the situation. I am not real comfortable in the ocean but Tim made me feel very comfortable knowing that we had hand signal if we needed help while in the water. Each time I looked up Tim and Brian were watching the guests in the water...very attentive to guest needs. Can't say enough about the 2 of your crew.      "We wanted to add our applause for a great snorkeling trip with Captain Brian and First Mate Mindy. We had debated about taking the cruise and were absolutely thrilled with the results. The experience was the highlight of our week in Hawaii. Before traveling to Hawaii, a graduation gift to our daughter for completing her Masters degree, she said that most of all she would like to have the chance to swim with a dolphin. Not believing it was a possibility we just really ignored it! We headed out from the marina Tuesday morning with perfect weather conditions and immediately found ourselves surrounded by dolphins. After an initial snorkel with several turtles and schools of beautiful tropical fish we had the chance for 3 "dolphin drops" which were unbelievable. We also had a rare chance to see Pacific bottlenose dolphins up close as well. My daughter's wish was granted. Everything on the cruise was well handled: instructions were clear; the boat and equipment well-maintained; crew pleasant, friendly and knowledgeable; even lunch was good upon our return. It was a perfect 3 hours. We were lucky enough to have photographer, Dustin, on board to record our trip and preserve our memories. We will always enjoy looking at all the photos!"      "I wanted to take the time to thank you so much for the outstanding service your company provided to my brother Conor and me. We had planned our trip to Hawaii last fall. My brother Conor is a quadriplegic and I wanted him to enjoy his holiday to the max. Most tour operators have restrictions for people with disabilities. The ordinary holiday for people with disabilities such as his would be to sit in the shade and read a good book, maybe go for another walk and watch everyone else enjoy the sea and beach.
     I was elated when you told me about your own situation and that Conor would be able take part in a snorkel adventure. We had originally booked our voyage for the Monday, you thought the seas may be rough after the cold front that came through and rescheduled us with the perfect weather in store. We realized then that this was no money grab, you were genuine in your attempt to make it right for us!
     Our voyage was on Wednesday morning at 7 a.m. The weather was absolutely perfect. Not a cloud in the sky! We were met by Captain Brian and First Officer Austin. What a great team! My brother Conor weighs about 250 lbs. He was quite the athlete prior to his spinal injury. Brian and Austin couldn't wait to put the muscle to work! The transfer on to the boat was quick and hassle free. The commercial airlines could use a lesson here! While we were at sea, the crew constantly made sure that Conor could see everything that was possible. Whales, dolphins, turtles, fish of every color and all the breath taking shore scenery that Hawaii has to offer. To my absolute amazement, they lifted him out of his chair and gently into the ocean so he could experience the vast array of tropical fish for the first time. I was so happy tears streamed down my face. My brother is very well traveled. He spends three months a year globe trotting and has never had an experience like this. Strange group to travel together, but this trip was entirely for my kids. Sept 09, I was diagnosed with Stage 1 breast cancer. Oct 09, my ex-husband was diagnosed with Stage 4 colon cancer that has now spread to his appendix, gall bladder, stomach and liver.      "I would like to begin by saying THANK YOU, THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR A WONDERFUL ADVENTURE! We loved our guides Tim and Brian. They were professional, informative, entertaining, friendly, very attentive to the guests, and most of all GOOD LOOKING! Six of us; me, my son and daughter (20), my friend and her daughter (13), and my mother (86), took the Swim and Snorkel with Wild Dolphins Adventure on June 13, 2011. I took my mother on this trip to Hawaii because she had said so many times she wanted to see Pearl Harbor. She celebrated her 86th birthday on June 8 just before our trip. My son and daughter were celebrating their "pre" 21st birthday, so we decided to celebrate and treat ourselves and take a trip to Hawaii. We lived in Hawaii over 50 years ago when my father was stationed there in the Navy, but I don't remember it. Tim made sure to show me, or at least point out, Barber's Point during the trip. My mother may be 86, but she remembers living in Hawaii and loving it, so this trip brought back good memories. My mother did not swim or snorkel with the dolphins, but she enjoyed watching them jump and spin from the boat. She especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren snorkel. Tim and Brian took very good care of her while the others in our group went snorkeling. I tried snorkeling, but failed "Snorkeling 101" so I stayed on the boat and kept my mother company and took lots of pictures. To top off our adventure, Tim and Brian showed us the "Black Pearl" from Pirates of the Caribbean movie that was docked at Ko Olina Marina. That was exciting. Even though I didn't do very well snorkeling, the trip was wonderful, and I have a great CD of photos from the trip and wonderful memories. This was the last day of our vacation in Hawaii and I'm so happy that my family and friends enjoyed the Wild Dolphin Ocean Adventure. Just after our return from Hawaii my mother fell and broke her left hip. I'm so glad she was able to make this trip before she fell. I printed a copy of the photo (attached) of her, Tim, and Brian, and took it to the hospital and told all the nurses that Tim and Brian were her boyfriends from Hawaii, it made her laugh! There are always guests asking for advice on what they can do while visiting Oahu to make their trip memorable. I can now personally suggest Ko Olina Dolphin encounter as an excursion they will not forget. Your staff and crew were professional and friendly. I did not know what to expect before going on the tour since I had never done anything like this before. My apprension was quickly eased after I arrived by the friendly welcome I recieved from the staff, especially from Katie and Liana. From what I understand it was a busier day than normal but the check in process was well organized and the departure remained on schedule. The boat crew did an outstanding job of keeping it a fun atmosphere while emphasizing safety. The crew also included Japanese and English speakers so all aboard the vessel could understand the instructions. While in the water we were given the freedom to explore without being made to stay so close to the boat however the crew always had accountability of the people on the tour. The photographer on board was extremely friendly and very informative, often pointing out different sea life and teaching a bit about what we were seeing. Each stop we made gave us enough time to explore the areas. Upon returning to the dock, it was nice to have lunch ready for us. Being in the water for 3+ hours built my appetite and this was a great way to end the experience. Overall I think this is a great excursion and I would definetly recommend it to anyone looking to do something unforgettable while on Oahu. Thank you again!" Terrence

     "I wanted to write a note to say a big thank you to the captain and crew on our tour who went above and beyond to make our day a great experience. We went on the early morning tour and from the minute we got on the boat it was a great day! Captain Chip and the other crew members were really great at engaging with the group and sharing their local knowledge. The first stop was great, lots of tropical fish and sea turtles. The crew was great at making sure everyone was comfortable with the equipment and also that people got on and off the boat safely. The second stop was to try and see the wild dolphins and although we had to look for a while to find them, they kept trying and when we did find them, they were great at making sure we got close up to them and helping us spot them in the water. It was absolutely amazing to see wild dolphins swim right past us - an experience I will never forget! The third spot was great as before, as we got out of the water we saw a huge group of dolphins and the crew followed them to get us some great pictures and we were lucky enough to see some of the dolphins jump out of the water and do the spin jump that they get their name from.      "I had a wonderful experience this past week during the mid-day trip. I planned this trip as relaxing 25th birthday weeklong trip from California. The snorkeling was the highlight and best 4 hours of my entire trip. Captain Mark included educational pieces throughout the trip. We started with seeing the Pirates of the Caribbean ship being rebuilt. Then off to a visit communing with 5 turtles. As we got back into the boat, three different pods of dolphins arrived. We got to float along in the water as they swam in and around us. I will never forget the beauty of their movement through the water and actually hearing the dolphins communicate with each other. We got back into the boat and hopped back in on the next spot. There we spent some time feeding fish near the outflow of the power plant. There were amazing varieties of fish and the water was nice and warm. Thank you for an amazing experience!      "I submitted this to Yelp this morning. My first review with them ever because we had such a good time. Please thank Mark, Steve and Kelly - they were all wonderful. My son even had a close encounter with a dolphin that he said was far better than the one he did at Sea Life Park. I was able to snorkel for the first time and while I didn't completely overcome my fear of fish I was able to learn to enjoy the entire experience with my family. You have a great crew - keep up the good work!
     We did a lot in Hawaii, (helicopter tour, sub tour, luau, Pearl Harbor, City tour, Sea Life Park, Diamond Head, Etc.) but this was a family favorite. We were able to see dolphins, lots of fish, sea turtles and even though it was the end of the season we saw a few whales. My 9 year old son also loved being able to get up close to the Black Pearl ship from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. The staff (Mark, Steve and Kelly) is also great at giving everyone an education on the island and marine life while we were boating. They are great at teaching inexperienced snorkelers what to do so everyone has a wonderful experience. We also got a muffin or granola bar with coffee, tea or hot chocolate before we left, water on the boat, and a good lunch when we got back all included in the price of the trip. They even had leave in conditioner on the boat for those of us with longer hair. Snorkeling gear was in good shape and easy to use so don't worry about bringing your own and they have prescription goggles if you need them. I would suggest renting the wet suit top for $10 as it can get a little chilly in and out of the water and purchase the CD with pictures because Kelly got close ups of many of the animals that we were seeing and she took a few shots of each family too! It seems like they have thought of everything so you can just show up with a suit and towel and sit back and enjoy. If you can only afford one trip this is the one to do - don't miss it." Tina

     "This was one of the highlights of our honeymoon. Everything was very professionally done and they did everything to make our experience as good as possible. We went on a morning tour (departs at 7am on time). We cruised up the entire west coast of Oahu looking for a herd of dolphins. The boat is apparently the fastest of tour companies on Oahu, and that really was worth it because we covered a very large area until we finally found a big family of Hawaiian spinner dolphins. They were adorable - they swam along the boat, and babies kept jumping out of the water and do their spins (hence 'spinners'). Then the captain sped up the boat to have them follow us so he can drop us in the water and have the dolphins swim underneath us. It wasn't totally 'swimming with wild dolphins' because we were just floating, but still magical. We had some snorkeling spots along the way where we swam with some pretty fish and sea turtles as well. Coffee and muffins in the morning and sandwiches on return are included.       "What a trip! We went out on the 10:45 AM trip on Saturday the 4th of June. I want to let everyone know how much fun we had and how Captain Brian made our 12 year old son feel extra special. From the minute we started to walk down to the boat Brain learned his name (Jamie) and from that point on it was Jamie this Jamie that, doing good Jamie, and on and on! Captain Brain made sure Jamie was properly fitted in snorkel gear. Through out the entire trip Brian made sure Jamie was having fun. At one point Brian let Jamie sit in the captains chair and they just talked and talked. Then the highlight of the trip was on our way back Brian let Jamie steer the boat. With everything Brian was responsible for and it was alot, I was amazed he took the time and had the patience to deal with a 12 year old kid. Oh, I don't want to forget Steve. He was great also, but Steve was watching everyone and telling stories of the fish and all, but he too made sure Jamie was ok.      "My husband and I had a wonderful excursion! We saw a pod of over 100 dolphins, and the staff made 3 "drop" passes to be sure that everyone got to see the dolphins in the water.      We visited with you on Friday, June 18, 2010. What a fantastic time! For first-time snorkelers, it was an awesome experience that hooked us on snorkeling forever. Capt. Mark and his crew on the Pacific Passion were excellent, patiently answering questions and showing and explaining exactly what we should do to gain the most from our experience. AND prescription goggles. . . what a plus for those of us with less than perfect eyesight!!! Thank you so much for the aloha you extended to us.      We just got home and looked through our pictures. It reminded us what an amazing time we had on your boat. The crew were all fun, and seeing the dolphins, turtles and fish underwater was super cool. My 6yr old decided the water was too cold, but she still had a blast. She saw the dolphins and turtles from the boat, and then the Captain let the kids fish and showed them several of them up close. And she of course loved it when he drove over the waves. We also bought the picture CD, which I normally don't, but it was such a reasonable price. Her pictures were way better than mine, and captured everything from the scenery, the oceanlife and all of us on board having a great time. And the bonus of getting her stock "best of" photos made the CD a really great value. I recommend people just let her take photos and enjoy the experience. So thanks for a really great time!" Susan

     "This is THE highlight of our hawaiian vacation. I've been to O'ahu once, but never been to the west side. The views were awesome. We were very lucky to see a pod of spinner dolpins within 30 min. of our departure. I can still remember the sound of dolphins in the water! That's something you will never forget. This tour lived up to its expectations and more. On the 2nd snorkel spot, we swam with three sea turtles! It's the underwater heaven there. You MUST do this when you are in Hawaii. unforgetable!"      "My husband and I did the morning snorkel. Being a certified SCUBA diver, I never thought snorkeling would be so memorable after diving several exotic locations. Boy was I wrong. The staff made it a point to make all 3 locations as memorable and interactive as possible from locating a pod of approx 160 dolphins to even finding several impressive turtles at the "cleaning station." This is a total A+++ adventure and I recommend to everyone. But for having event planned every other day during our stay, I would have gladly redone this adventure and hope to do it again when we return to Hawaii." Shannon

     "It was great. I was lucky enough to have the turtles swim right up to my nose, and the dolphins to swim up right underneath me. We had some trouble getting the dolphins to come close, but I'm glad that the crew kept on trying. The guys were really nice and the photographer took some great shots. I think it's great for first timers as well - you can opt to go after everyone and the crew really makes sure that you're safe. I would do it again any time if I had more time in Oahu, I actually would've done it again in the week that I was there and highly recommend it." Marina

     "We are a family of six, ages 16, 18, 20, 22, 48 and 49. This was the best activity we did in Hawaii. We swam with dolphins in the wild, fed hundreds of fish, saw beautiful coral, and even watched a whale close up. This trip was amazing. The captain was the best person and tried her hardest to please everyone and I think she did. Extremely organized, clean, pleasant and exciting was this trip. It would be the first trip to book on my next trip. Some of the other trips we did were Zipling, Tubing, Hikes, Helicopter, Small plane, among others. The best was this one.      "We had such a great time! The staff was amazing. The captain was so funny & his staff really made you feel welcome and prepared. I was especially impressed that one of his staff members was multi-lingual and was able to explain what we were doing in both English & Japanese. It was so cool to see the dolphins jumping around the boat and just amazing to actually be floating above several doplphins in the open ocean. The snorkleing was amazing too. I have never seen so many different types of fish & we even got to hang out & watch a huge turtle. At the end they give you a good deli style lunch and show off the slide show, which is available for purchase. From the outing, this was an amazing excursion.      "I went on a wonderful snorkeling tour with Captain Mark and First Mate Trevor back in April and want to go again when I come out in August. They were fantastic, I absolutely loved the trip, we found spotted dolphins waaaay out, thanks to Captain Mark's diligence and determination, and Trevor noticed that I wore glasses and replaced my mask with a prescription mask, which allowed me to see every detail of each dive. These guys were on it, noticing every little thing, making sure everyone on board was treated special and had a wonderful trip. I've been on trips all over the world and usually have an excellent time, but I've never seen such happy people working the tours who really cared about individuals the way they do. Thank you!"      "When in Oahu on January 30, 2012, we took a snorkel tour. We went with Captain Mark and First Mate Tim. They were awesome!! We have been on several snorkel tours, in Belize and Australia.
